About Modelcast
We tell you when new AI models are coming and what they will do, then give you a full first look the day they launch.
What we do
Every AI model we track gets one page. Before launch it shows the most likely release date, the chance it arrives on time and what it is expected to offer. On launch day the same page becomes a first look: features, price, test scores, how to use or download it, and who it is for. A hands-on review with our own tests follows within a week.
How to read a forecast
- Expected date is our single best guess.
- Launch window runs from the earliest to the latest date we think is realistic.
- Chance is how likely we think it is that the model comes out inside that window. We grade this number after every launch.
Where our information comes from
| Confirmed | The company said or published it. |
| News report | Trusted press or analysts reported it. |
| Betting markets | Prices on prediction markets, where people bet on launch dates. |
| Leak | Unconfirmed leaks, code changes spotted before release, social posts. |
| Our guess | Our own reasoning from the company's past releases. |
Editorial policy
- Nobody pays to be listed or ranked.
- Download and sign-up buttons go only to the official source.
- Test scores are labelled with who published them, the maker or an independent tester.
- Opinions are marked as ours. Every page lists its sources.
- We keep missed forecasts on the track record page.
